For a shopping center parking area in Cali, the owner mainly wanted neat white bay lines and yellow arrows with good initial reflection. We chose a formula without internal glass beads and applied drop-on glass beads during construction. It was enough for the early inspection. For this kind of private parking project, paying for a high long-term bead formula would not have been necessary.

The job was on an old urban road in Bogotá, and the surface looked simple only from far away. Once we started cleaning, we found old marking residue and polished asphalt where buses and cars passed every day. We used primer before applying Tianhua Traffic white thermoplastic paint. The line edge looked much more stable after cooling, especially on the worn parts of the lane.

We serve customers around Cali and Valle del Cauca, so Buenaventura made more sense than a Caribbean-side route. The paint price was only the first number. Port handling, customs timing, inland trucking, and warehouse unloading all changed our landed cost. For Colombia, I would not quote contractors until the route and destination city are confirmed.

The bags arrived well, but we did not treat storage casually. Near the coast, humidity can create trouble before the crew even starts marking. We kept the material raised, covered, and away from open doors. When the paint was later melted on site, the flow was normal. I think good storage prevented problems that could easily be mistaken for product quality issues.

Our project was not a straight parking lot job. It involved curved road sections where yellow warning markings had to be clear for drivers. The first test line showed that dust on the pavement could easily affect the finish. After cleaning again and keeping the kettle temperature steadier, the yellow line came out cleaner and easier to see at night.

I am looking for cooperation with road marking contractors working on bus lanes, pedestrian crossings, airport service roads, mountain routes, parking areas, and city repainting projects in Colombia or nearby markets. I am comfortable with push machine operation, hand work around arrows and crossings, equipment setup, calibration, machine checks, and watching glass bead spreading while the line is still hot. I prefer crews that take pavement cleaning, primer use, line thickness, and night visibility seriously.

Our first sales calculation used a smaller safety number for one 20ft container because we were worried about weight limits and bag handling. Tianhua checked the packing method, pallet plan, and forwarder requirements with us before shipment. After the plan was confirmed, the loading could be arranged around 27 tons. That changed our freight-per-ton cost and gave us more room when pricing for road contractors without reducing the formula grade.

A road maintenance buyer asked a very practical question: how the markings would look after months of traffic, rain, and surface wear. For that job, we discussed premixed glass beads instead of relying only on drop-on beads. Surface beads gave the first bright reflection, but internal beads were a better match for long-term night visibility on a busier road section.
