The yellow paint was used for truck movement lines, warning zones, and turning guidance inside an industrial access road. We paid more attention to line thickness and wear resistance than color alone. After drop-on glass beads were applied, the markings were much easier to identify during night operation.

For a higher-standard road project, we chose a formula with premixed glass beads. Drop-on beads gave good reflection at the beginning, but the owner also cared about visibility after months of traffic wear. A higher internal bead content made more sense for long-term retroreflectivity.

One section was an older asphalt road with faded markings. The contractor applied primer before the thermoplastic material, and that helped the new line bond better to the surface. Without primer, old pavement can easily cause peeling or weak adhesion, especially when traffic reopens quickly.
