For local resale, plain export bags are not always enough. Contractors wanted to quickly check color, storage notes, application use, and whether the product was suitable for road lines, zebra crossings, arrows, or parking markings. The yellow material was used around a bridge approach and warning area. The job looked simple, but the surface had loose dust after dry weather and damp spots near drainage areas. The crew had to clean twice before marking. Once the surface was ready, the yellow line came out clear and was easier for drivers to notice.

For a road section used at night by trucks and local traffic, the buyer cared about visibility after months of use. That was different from a parking lot. We discussed premixed glass beads because surface beads give strong reflection at the beginning, but internal beads help when the line surface starts wearing down. The higher bead content made sense for that road.

This was not a highway project. The owner of the parking area mainly wanted clean white and yellow lines with good initial reflection. We used a formula without internal glass beads and applied drop-on beads during marking. The first reflective effect was enough for the project, and we did not waste money on a higher long-term bead formula that the owner did not require.

When we first calculated the order, our resale price in Guyana was based on a conservative 20ft container loading plan. After Tianhua checked the bag stacking, pallet/no-pallet arrangement, and freight forwarder requirements with us, the shipment plan allowed more material in the same container. The final loading reached 27 tons instead of the lower figure we used at the beginning. That changed our per-ton freight calculation and gave us more room when quoting contractors in Georgetown and nearby regions.

The paint arrived well packed, but we did not leave the bags directly on the warehouse floor. In a humid coastal area, moisture control matters before construction even starts. We kept the material covered, raised from the floor, and opened only what we needed for the day. The paint melted normally later, and I think that storage step avoided problems.

We used the white thermoplastic paint on a road section where the old markings were already weak but still visible. At first the crew wanted to mark directly, but the surface had dust, old paint residue, and some polished asphalt. We cleaned it and brushed primer before applying Tianhua Traffic material. The new line held better, especially at the edges. For old road repainting in Georgetown, primer is not something I would skip again.
