Our bags arrived in good condition, but we stored them in a covered area because of coastal humidity. Keeping them off the ground and protected from moisture made the paint melt more predictably on site. I think some early failures we’ve seen elsewhere were due to poor storage before application, not the paint itself.

We initially planned the 20ft container based on the usual 25 tons. Tianhua helped coordinate with the freight forwarder and reviewed the packing arrangement. In the end the container was loaded with approximately 27 tons, which reduced the freight cost per ton significantly. For deliveries to Guayaquil, this made our full-container order much more cost‑effective.

For the Quito maintenance section, the existing markings were very faint. We cleaned the surface thoroughly and brushed primer before applying the Tianhua Traffic thermoplastic paint. The primer made a noticeable difference — the new white line bonded much better compared to our previous job where we skipped that step.

Ecuador’s rain patterns made us plan the marking schedule carefully. The material was fine, but after light showers the pavement looked dry while still being damp underneath.
