For a private parking area, the owner mainly cared about clear white and yellow lines for the first inspection. We did not use a high premixed glass bead formula. A 0% internal bead option with good drop-on beads was enough for initial reflectivity and helped keep the material cost reasonable.

At first we only asked for the paint price, but later we realized the delivery route mattered a lot. Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh did not give the same final cost for our warehouse. The product quotation was clear, but the landed cost only made sense after checking port handling, inland delivery, and unloading conditions.

The paint itself was stable, but the weather affected our marking schedule. After rain, the pavement looked dry from a distance, but moisture was still left in low areas. We waited longer, cleaned again, and then applied the material. The final bonding was much better than rushing the job.

The road was not new asphalt. It already had faded lines, dust, and some polished areas from traffic. The contractor cleaned the surface first and brushed primer before applying the Tianhua thermoplastic paint. That primer step helped the new white line grip the old pavement much better. For maintenance work in Phnom Penh, I would not skip primer on aged roads.

For a road section with heavier traffic, we chose a formula with premixed glass beads. Drop-on beads gave a bright result at the beginning, but the owner also cared about night visibility after several months. Internal beads made more sense because new beads can appear gradually as the line surface wears.

We used the white paint for pedestrian crossings near a school area and the yellow paint for warning lines. The job was done in short sections, so quick cooling helped reduce traffic interruption. The line looked clean, but the real improvement came after surface beads were applied for evening visibility.

The bags stayed in storage for a while before the project started. Cambodia’s humidity can be a problem, so we kept the material off the floor and away from open doors. When the bags were kept dry, the paint melted normally and the line surface was smooth during application.

Cambodia contractors do not all ask for the same product. Some want economical paint for parking lots and factory roads. Others ask about AASHTO, BS3262, JT/T280, long-term reflectivity, and bead content. The useful part of working with Tianhua Group is that the formula can be discussed by project type, instead of forcing one fixed grade for every buyer.
