Surface beads gave good initial reflection, but we selected premixed glass beads because internal beads can continue supporting retroreflectivity as the line surface wears down.

This was a repainting job on an old street in Managua. The faded line looked easy to cover, but after sweeping we could still see dust, old coating residue, and smooth tire-polished areas. The crew used primer before applying Tianhua Traffic white thermoplastic paint. The edge stayed much cleaner after cooling, and the line did not lift at the weak spots like we had seen on a previous job without primer.
