This was a local council repainting job, not a fresh asphalt section. The old white line was faded but still sitting in the surface, and some areas were polished by traffic. Our crew cleaned the pavement and used primer before applying Tianhua Traffic thermoplastic paint. The line edge looked much cleaner after cooling. On old suburban roads, I would not rely on sweeping alone.

One buyer did not care about a cheap online price. He asked whether the material could be discussed around AS 4049.2, local project documents, glass bead compatibility, drying time, and line appearance after application. We asked for a sample first, melted it, checked the colour, and then discussed the bulk order. That process felt slower, but it avoided confusion later.

Our first plan used a conservative 20ft container loading figure because we were unsure about pallet requirements and Australian unloading conditions. Tianhua checked the bag stacking, forwarder notes, and weight allowance with us instead of just giving a standard answer. After the plan was confirmed, the shipment reached 27 tons in the same container. For us, that did not just reduce freight per ton; it also made it easier to split stock between metro customers and regional contractors without raising the price too much.

I am looking for cooperation with Australian road marking contractors working on council roads, car parks, school zones, logistics yards, port access roads, or mining access roads. My experience is hands-on: push machine operation, hand work around arrows and crossings, equipment setup, calibration, small machine checks, and watching line width and bead spread while the thermoplastic is still hot. I am especially interested in crews that care about old-surface preparation, primer use, clean edges, and safe reopening after marking.

The paint price was only the beginning of the calculation. Once we added Port Botany handling, customs broker timing, local delivery, warehouse unloading, and later contractor dispatch, the real number became different. Tianhua gave us the packing and loading details early, which helped us build a more honest cost sheet before quoting NSW contractors.

The material was ready, but the pavement was not. After a short shower, the road looked dry from the ute, but close up there was still moisture in low spots. We delayed the marking and came back later in the day. The white line bonded better and the surface looked smoother. In northern or coastal Queensland, the right weather window matters as much as the paint formula.

For a shopping centre car park, the owner wanted neat white bays, yellow arrows, and decent initial reflection under lighting. We did not specify a high premixed glass bead formula. A 0% internal bead option with drop-on beads during application was enough for the early result and kept the job inside budget. I would not use the same bead plan for a highway, but it made sense here.

A mining access road in a hot, dusty area is not the same as a city car park. Trucks were turning across the yellow markings every day, and the buyer cared about wear and night visibility after traffic had already punished the line. We discussed premixed glass beads with Tianhua because surface beads give the first shine, while internal beads help later when the top layer wears down.
