The paint gave a clean line when the heating temperature was controlled properly. During one small trial, the operator overheated the material and the surface finish was not as smooth. After adjusting the kettle temperature, the flow became more stable and the line edge looked much better.

Not every BS3262-related project needs the highest glass bead content. For a parking area and short access road, the client mainly cared about early reflectivity. We selected a lower-cost formula and used surface-applied glass beads during construction, which met the initial visual requirement without overpaying for unnecessary long-term performance.
